Smurfit Kappa TWINCORR specialises in the corrugated flute types E, B, EE, BE and BB. This in combination with the application of lightweight paper types enables us to produce some unique specifications.
TWINCORR-EE™: a very thin version of board (3 mm) that consists of 3 finishing layers and 2 corrugated layers. This type of board has better box compression values and puncture values than traditional single wall corrugated board and usually results in saving in weight of 20-30%. It also saves raw materials.
STONEYWALL BE: a type of corrugated board (5 mm) of B- and E-corrugation, especially suitable for packing that needs to give optimum protection under tough, challenging circumstances. For instance when packaging is used for heavy products, long transporting distance or differing climate demands. It's suitable for many packaging styles from standard regular slotted folding boxes to cutout trays, to complex 6-point glued box lids or stackable fresh fruit & vegetables trays. Within the TWINCORR S-concept all these products are speedily, spotlessly and smartly produced. We'd call this rather more than standard.
